Forsyth, Georgia – Monroe County Hospital recently installed a ASPIRE Cristalle 3D mammography system from FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation, a leading provider of diagnostic and enterprise imaging solutions. 3D mammography is an advanced form of breast imaging that uses a low dose x-ray at multiple angles to generate three-dimensional views of the breast, which can help radiologists better visualize lesions that can be obscured between varying layers of breast tissue and improve their ability to confidently diagnose breast cancer.
