Monroe County Hospital provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The hospital is accredited by DNV GL-Healthcare.

- 24 HR Emergency Department: Our Emergency Room is a Level III facility and is available 24/7/365. The Emergency Room is staffed with professional physicians and nurses

- Surgery and Endoscopy: The surgery department here at Monroe County Hospital has a procedure room set up for endoscopy procedures and one surgery suite. It is staffed with a surgical RN, a surgical scrub tech and a Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN.
- Medical Records: The Medical Records Department serves to support the clinical departments and administration of Monroe County Hospital by maintaining a timely, complete, and well-documented medical record on each patient we serve
Swing Beds - Monroe County Hospital's extended hospital stay program
Monroe County Hospital offers a Swing Bed program that allows for an extended hospital stay following a long hospital stay, trauma, or surgery.
