How Are Your Donations Used?














Since the Foundation became active in 2000, it has raised approximately $400,000. In past years, these gifts have allowed us to:


Purchase an automated medication dispensing system
Purchase new heart monitoring equipment for the Emergency Room
Purchase endoscopy equipment for the Operating Room
Renovate patient rooms
Purchase a 4-slice CT Scanner
Retile the second floor of the hospital
Purchase a filmless radiology system
Purchase a Bi-Pap Ventilator
Renovate the Waiting Areas in the Emergency Room, Laboratory, Radiology
Install new doors for dressing rooms in the Imaging Department
Purchase gowns and robes for patients having a mammogram
Renovate mammogram exam and dressing room area
Renovate front lobby and Emergency Room restrooms in the waiting area
Update television sets in all of our patient bedrooms

Monroe County Hospital welcomes online donations to our Foundation from members of our community. There are various needs and programs that continually need support and funding. Some of the current projects to be funded are:

Electronic medical records system for inpatients and emergency patients
Room renovations
Medical offices for new physicians
Exterior landscaping and plantings
New front entrance and portico
